Who Made my Clothes
To mark Fashion Revolution day, held annually on the anniversary of the Rana Plaza tragedy, we set up an installation at the FAIR shop in central Brighton to ask the all important question ‘Who made my clothes?’. Hundreds of shoppers stopped to engage in discussion aiming to make production processes more transparent and encourage more conscious consumption. The collapse of the Rana Plaza building in Bangladesh in 2013 caused the death of over 1000 garment workers in the name of fast fashion for the West. We will always remember.
