Brighton Fashion Week 2010

BFW10 was defined by the critically acclaimed Trashion Show from fashion rebel Jez Eaton. The historic St Michael’s Church in the centre of the city was shown in an entirely new light when married with Jez’s tour de force – a fast-paced, edgy runway show featuring an unusual collection of utterly ingenious recycled couture, from old umbrellas to rubber gloves . This visually arresting experience in many ways sowed the seeds for the future template of Brighton Fashion Week as risk-taking, theatrical and committed to conscious, ethical design.
